WITH the ninth cards returned in the very competitive qualifying stage of the Pitchers Restaurant Spring League at Foyle Team 14 Joe Doran, Matt Donnell, Ciaran O’Hagan and Leo Young having accumulated 592 points from their nine cards.

The leaders hold a ten point lead over the chasing pack and with one card left to count would seem to hold an unassailable lead in their quest to top the leader board in the qualifying stage of the league, also at this late stage the other seven teams to qualify for the Match play have not yet been identified that is how close and competitive the league has become.

In second spot currently is Team 11 of Mark Doherty, Ciaran O’Doherty, Dermott Harkin and Jim McFadden on 582 points and Team 7 of Cormac McGeady, Damien McColgan, Eddie McKeever and Andrew McKeever currently sit in third place on 575 points.

All Members are reminded that Club Membership which includes G.U.I Fees is due and MUST be payed on or before Monday 1st April to enable Members to play for Prizes in Club Competitions and to maintain their G.U.I. Handicap, Optional Insurance is also due by that date.

Today (Wednesday) and on Saturday their will be Easter Hamper competitions down for decision, while on Monday, April 1, the Open Stableford competition, which is sponsored by Calor Gas takes centre stage.
