HOCKEY: Larne Ladies hope to bounce back from Irish Trophy defeat
Larne Ladies exited the Irish Hockey Trophy at the first-round stage at the weekend.
The local side suffered a 6-1 defeat at the hands of visitors Bandon on Saturday.
This weekend Larne, who have yet to win a league game this season, will be aiming to bounce back when they entertain mid-table Grosvenor in a Senior 1 fixture at Greenland.
League goals have proved hard to come by for Larne’s 1st XI. They have netted just three times and conceded 11.
