Killaney are surprise finalists

KILLANEY are the surprise finalists in the Lisburn Zone Charity Cup competition after a single shot win against Hillsborough Social in the semi-final at Sloan Street Presbyterian Hall on Thursday night.

They had a ten shot handicap advantage over Social and though losing the first two games still retained two of these handicap shots, but at that stage a Hillsborough win appeared more likely.

But, Killaney shared the next two games and in a thrilling last end held on to get a one shot win.
