Any of three teams could have won it and the Saints were three up as word came through that in-form Ballyclare Golf Club ‘A’ had beaten Latharna 3-2.

This gave the Saints the incentive to go on and win 4-1 in a tough match away at Greenbank ‘B’.

Latharna will be dissapointed with their recent dip in form, and should be back next season as strong as ever. Ballyclare Golf Club have improved so much this year also proved they are serious title contenders for next season.
