Shock defeat for ladies Seconds

Malone started off the match strongly, scoring a questionable goal from a penalty corner.

South ladies put the pressure on the Malone defence but unfortunately they were unable to convert. Malone scored a second goal from a penalty corner and the game ended 2 - 0 Malone.

The ladies started their weekend off with a Friday night match, travelling to Ballyclare High School to play against Parkview.

From the whistle, the ladies pushed out strong, making fantastic play between the midfield and forwards. The team really pushed Parkview and frustrated them. Towards the end of the first half, the ladies took Parkview by surprise with the first goal of the match set up from midfield by Charis Seeds, fed into the circle by Jo Clarke and finished off by Jennifer Morrow. This positivity from the team carried through but it wasn’t enough as Parkview levelled the score with a well-executed penalty corner. Both teams settled for a point each.
