St Louis into Loch an Iuir semi-finals
St Mary’s dominated most of the game and led at half time by six points to one. St Louis’ only score in the opening thirty minutes came from an Eamon Fyfe free in the 11th minute after full forward, Connell Lemon was fouled.
It was going to take a massive effort by St Louis to progress from this game but a rejuvenated team emerged in the second half.

Hide AdEamon Fyfe converted another free in 33rd minute which was followed by a Ronan Graham point four minutes later.
St Mary’s scored their only point of the half in the 16th minute but still held a four point lead.
St Louis number 9, Colm Griffin finished off a move that started in his own end line when he ran through the St Mary’s full back line and blasted the ball to the net in the twentieth minute.
St Mary’s pushed up field again but a string of fine saves by St Louis ‘keeper Own Marquess, maintained the minimum between the teams.

Hide AdSt Louis centre half forward Eamon Fyfe showed great strength on ball and vision to pick out Ciaran Dobbin running through to goal and his pin point pass fell perfectly for Dobbin to blast to the net in the twenty eight minute.
It was a nail biting three minutes as the Belfast side tried to produce a winning goal but the St Louis defence held strong and there was great scenes of jubilation at the final whistle.
St Louis now play St Patrician’s Carrickmacross in the semi final.
