New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Belfast’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Belfast’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Moyola, at 427 Ballysillan Road, Belfast was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 9.

And The York, at 86 York Road, Belfast was also given a score of four on January 9.

It means that of Belfast's 385 takeaways with ratings, 193 (50%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
