New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Belfast’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Caffe Nero, at Unit 2a Boucher Retail Park, Boucher Crescent, Belfast was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 14.

And The Doyen, at 829-831 Lisburn Road, Belfast was also given a score of four on September 14.

It means that of Belfast's 943 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 781 (83%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
